Hopper 1 is a feeding assembly consisting of three interconnected sections.

Inspection port 9 helps to watch the product in the hopper. Cover 10 is used for cleaning from any foreign particles. Gear motor 11 is installed on the shaft of the mixer 8. Mixer consists of four knifes which mix the product constantly.

Dried to 12% raw material is fed to hopper. Screw feeder conveys the mixture into the pressing zone where the pressure and temperature increase. The feedstock is forced through a forming die as a result briquettes of diameter 70 mm are made.

There is no glue or other additives in our technology. The temperature is so high that lignin is released thus binding the material into a solid briquette with high density.

The moisture content of the raw material is 8 - 15 % while the ideal moisture for most wood material is 10-12%.
