OILPRESS
Oil press is a machine that mechanically presses out a high quality vegetable oil from agricultural oilseeds such as soybean, rapeseed, sunflower, flax etc.
Here we have two objectives:
- to get vegetable oil
- to get a high protein oil cake also known as a meal

Process Restrictions:
• process temperature. The temperature must be at least equal to a certain value, but not above the maximum level. For example, for cold pressed vegetable oil, the minimum temperature is 15-20 °C (otherwise the oil yield will be too low), and the maximum temperature is up to 55 °C which is the limit value for cold pressing method.
To extract the oil from soy you need to keep the minimum temperature of 90-100 °C and the maximum temperature of 110-120 °С. Sunflower requires the following rates: the minimum temperature of 100-105 ° С and the maximum - 110-115 ° С.
Keep in mind, if the process temperature is less than the minimum, you’ll get a lower oil yield. If the process temperature is higher than the maximum, the ready oil will be rapidly oxidized, the vitamins will be destroyed, otherwise stated - you will get a product of poor quality.
• oil yield and oil press capacity. The higher production capacity for raw materials, the lower vegetable oil output (the reason is: the most of oil remains in the oil cake). For example, we process 1 ton of full fat soy and as a result 8% of oil contains the oil cake.
If you reduce the production capacity of the oil press (decreasing the rotation on the shaft), this will improve the oil yield cut down the residual oil content in the meal.
• the moisture content of the raw material adversely affects the yield of oil. The higher moisture of raw materials, the lower oil yield and the higher residual oil content in the meal.
If you process soybeans with moisture of 8%, the ready soy meal will have 7- 8% of fat. If the moisture is 10%, 10- 11% of fat will remain in the meal.
The oil press consists of the following units:
• press cage, consists of press bars with special gaps for oil outlet.
• shaft with screws. Screws move and press the raw material inside the press cage.
• drive creates a force on the screw shaft
• reservoir gathers the vegetable oil released from the press cage
• outlet is a discharge unit for the ready oil cake

There are different types of oil presses:
• for cold oil pressing, operate at temperatures up to 55 °C.
• forpress is the oil press for preliminary mechanical oil extracting in the double pressing line. For example, forpress extracts oil from the mashed sunflower seeds and as a result the sunflower meal has the oil content up to 23-27%.
• expeller is the final (second) press used in the double pressing line. The oil cake, obtained from the first oil press (forpress) is fed into the second oil press (expeller). Thus the ready meal has the oil content of 7-10%.
We produce all three types of oil presses and we guarantee:
• the continuous operation
• long-life wear parts – processing 5000-7000 tons of raw material
• high quality products: oil and oil cake
