OIL PRESSING MACHINE
Mechanical method for extracting oil from nuts and seeds also known as oil pressing or expeller pressing is perfect for small and medium business companies and way better than a chemical method which is quite expensive and complicated. The hugest advantage is also that it is a non-chemical way of oil obtaining which works based on physics pressure and it actually means you get a 100% natural oil.
Oil presses also known as screw presses are used for continuous mechanical oil extraction, simply defined the main function of the vegetable oil press is to press the vegetable oil out and get the oil cake.

What technology to use for the crops with oil content of 40%? Usually it's the double pressing method.
Generally there are two processing systems for oil pressing, one is pre-pressing or preliminary oil pressing (the material is fed into the first oil press) and the other is full-pressing or final oil pressing (right after the material had been extruded it is fed into the final oil press, mechanical oil extraction process).
Why do we use extruder?
Extrusion is the best way to improve oil press efficiency and oil yielding. Extrusion may be able to increase press efficiency and yields by allowing oil cells to rupture, making the oil easier to access and remove. In the case of soybeans, this process is able to extract up to 66% of the available oil out of the seed. Other seeds can be processed in this manner as well.
For preliminary oil pressing :
- oil content of raw materials - 40 ... 52%
- humidity of raw materials - 7 ... 10%
- temperature of raw materials - above 15°С
